A seasoned executive with a proven track record of driving successful pursuit and capture strategies in the federal contracting market. 
As the Vice President of Strategic Development for ESA South, Inc., Alex leverages 13 years in the construction industry to lead the company towards sustainable growth and continued success in the federal sector. Alex holds an associate degree from the University of West Florida, complemented by his ongoing commitment to professional development and continued pursuit of his bachelor’s degree.

Alex leads the contract acquisitions department of ESA South which is responsible for all aspects of capture management, business development, and marketing. With a comprehensive understanding of both the complexities of government contracting and the nuances of construction management, Alex has built and managed ESA’s capture process leading to the capture of over $450M dollars in construction contracts and over $5 billion in IDIQ capacity. He is known for his ability to think laterally, challenging the status quo, and approaching problems from unconventional angles. By building collaborative relationships with industry partners and developing unique pursuit strategies to emerging opportunities, he ensures that ESA South remains at the forefront of the federal construction market.

Prior to his current role at ESA, Alex held various other positions such as project manager on various construction projects and operations manager on disaster relief missions after hurricanes Irma, Michael, Laura, and Delta. Alex is deeply passionate about developing a culture of excellence within ESA South, ultimately contributing to the company's continued success in being a great company to work for while delivering high-quality, mission-critical projects for federal clients.
