Jim Baker has more than 26 years of experience in the construction industry and serves as vice president of operations at ESA. He has worked in both the commercial and federal construction fields as a project manager and estimator. Jim is a results-oriented, hands-on construction and development professional with an excellent track record for the successful completion of multi-million-dollar projects through coordinating trades, developing partnerships, and building positive rapport with trades workers, vendors, and clients while maintaining costs. Jim has facilitated the acquisition and provided guidance and oversight for our VISN 15 operations and other VA projects. He provides close supervision of the field staff as a mentor and advisor for best practices. Jim’s expertise is called upon to oversee project budgets in the case of complex construction issues and may become an advisor to the review committee, often providing solutions to the government and contractor team.
