2024: Celebrating 25 Years, Executing to Success, and Planning for the Future

ESA South (ESA) has been strategically planning for 2024 for many years and we are excited to see what this next year has in store for us! First, we are excited to say that 2024 marks our 25^th year in business with each year more successful than the last. Secondly, ESA strategically planned that 2024 is the year that we exceed the small business size standard for the Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business designation. And lastly, we are aligning our teams in the field and home office to streamline our processes and execute our contracts to deliver at the highest level in our industry.

ESA was established in Pensacola in 1999, and we have seen phenomenal growth by design over the past 24 years. As 2023 progressed, ESA grew from 50 to 80 employees and counting-staffing offices in Cantonment and Gainesville, Florida; Poplar Bluff, Missouri; Los Angeles, and Fort Cavazos, Texas. During the next several months, we will establish new projects in Indianapolis; San Antonio; and Columbia, South Carolina -all sites of newly won Department of Veterans Affairs' construction projects.

On January 1, 2024, we will enter our 25^th year in business and exit the federal small business size standard we have enjoyed for the last two decades. We will be competing in the unrestricted market with some of the largest companies in the nation and the world. To thrive in this much more competitive environment- agility, efficiency, tenacity, and strategic decision-making will be vital. Our annual management retreat will be hosted in Pensacola for personnel from around the country to meet, work, and collaboratively build the plan for the new year.

ESA has a large volume of work around the country in various stages of completion and one of the most important things we’ll do is complete work expeditiously in the first and second quarters ahead of the federal fiscal year end on September 30^th. 2024 is an inflection point for us, holding much to look forward to--and much to plan for. With an upward trajectory, a seasoned team of more than 80 industry professionals working around the country and dozens of trusted subcontractors nationwide at our side, ESA looks to increase our total awards once again in 2024-while growing intelligently, deliberately, and successfully!
